Privacy policy for personal information


Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Information.

Ovelar, S.A. (hereafter OVERLAR) hereby presents its personal information protection policy to the users of the www.overlar.es web site so that they can freely and voluntarily decide whether they wish to provide OVELAR with the personal information that is required by some of the online forms offering services included on the www.ovelar.es web site.

Accuracy and truthfulness of the information provided


The personal information provided by users must be accurate and up to date, so that it corresponds truthfully to the user's current situation. For this reason, the user is responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of this information and it is obliged to inform OVELAR of any changes to it. Access to this information will be available on www.ovelar.es, using the user's e-mail address.

Any user who sends information to OVELAR has the sole responsibility for the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided and exonerates OVELAR of any responsibility to this effect.

Therefore, users guarantee and are responsible in all cases for the adequacy, accuracy, validity and authenticity of the personal information provided and they undertake to keep this information up to date by using the tools that OVELAR places at their disposal on www.ovelar.es, after they have identified themselves by means of their e-mail address.

OVELAR is not responsible for the accuracy of any information that it did not create and for which it quotes another source and therefore the company also does not accept any responsibility for any hypothetical damage that could be caused by the use of this information.

OVELAR is exempt from any responsibility for any damage that the user could suffer as a result of any errors, faults or omissions in the information provided by OVELAR, if it came from sources outside OVELAR.

Right of access to personal information

To excise their rights to access, rectify, cancel and oppose this information and in compliance with Instruction 1/1988 of 19 January of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, it is necessary for you to prove your identity to OVELAR by sending in a photocopy of your National Identity Document or some other document that is valid in law.

Collecting and processing personal information policy


1. Collecting personal information

The aim of collecting this information is to develop commercial activities and provide information on OVELAR's products and services.

Providing personal information is voluntary but obligatory in order to contact the company and receive information on OVELAR's products and services. Users declare that they have been informed of the conditions regarding the protection of personal information and that they accept and consent to the automatic processing of this information by OVELAR in the manner and for the purposes shown in this Privacy Policy.

Not providing the personal information requested or not accepting this privacy policy means that it is impossible to register, log on or receive information about OVELAR's products and services.

Users expressly consent to OVELAR's processing their personal information in order to send out promotions, commercial comunications, offers, quotations and any other information related to the products and services provided by OVELAR through the different communication channels, such as e-mail, SMS text messaging, telephone, letter or fax.

In accordance with the terms of Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Information, we inform you that the personal information that it is obtained as a result of your sending in your personal information will be included in a file owned by OVELAR, for which all the security measures established by this Royal Decree have been implemented.

The file, FORMULARIOMARKETING - 2042500187, is the property of OVELAR and has been duly registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

3. Handing over information to third parties

OVELAR will hand over the information provided by users to the associated companies or group of companies to which it belongs.

4. Advertising campaigns

OVELAR reserves the right to carry out advertising campaigns to promote the company and group of companies and their products and services and those of their associates. These communications will clearly identify OVELAR and will always be preceded by the word "ADVERTISEMENT".

Electronic security measures


OVELAR has adopted the levels of safety for the protection of personal information that are legally required and included in RD 994/1999 on Security Measures. However, we do have other additional means, such as the latest generation firewalls, and technical measures, such as software for encrypting confidential information and controlling access to personal information, restricted users, security policies, usernames and passwords that expire as is required by the Data Protection Law (Spanish acronym, LOPD) and other systems intended to prevent the malicious use of, alteration of, unauthorized access to and theft of the personal information provided to OVELAR.

OVELAR will not be held responsible for any possible damage that could result from interference, omissions, interruptions, computer viruses, telephone faults or disconnection in the operational functioning of this electronic system that are motivated by causes outside OVELAR, for any delays or blockages in the use of this electronic system that are caused by deficiencies or overloading of the telephone lines or overloading of the data processing centre, the Internet system or other electronic systems, as well as for the damage that could be caused by third parties that enter these systems illegally and beyond the control of OVELAR.
